APD students win “Framtidens Resande”

Franciso Lindoro & Philipp Divitschek

Future mobility concept

Philipp Divitschek and Francisco Lindoro, both students at the Advanced Product Design Programme, won the first prize in the Swedish design competition ”Framtidens resande” (Future Travelling) with their concept Future Mobility. The design competition was open to both design and art students and was organised by Arlanda Express in connection with the company’s 10th anniversary. The assigned jury had selected 3 candidates for the final selection, which was made by the public through the web and text messages. A quotation from the jury’s statement: "The winning contribution takes into account everything that is important for travelling in the future: design, ergonomics, and the environment”
Philip and Francisco developed the Future Mobility concept during their first term project at the Advanced Product Design Programme. The starting point of the term project, which was sponsored by the Volvo Group, was to identify design opportunities to ensure safer bus and coach transports for the future. Philipp and Francisco will be sharing the prize, 25.000 SEK.
Congratulations!
