During a 10 week internship at Caran Automotive in Gothenburg, Per Brickstad was one of the main designers developing the Caran Design Concept System. The concept has on the 17th of November won a "Design S at Elmia Subcontractor”.
Elmia Subcontractor is an international fair that this year had 1200 exhibitors from 30 different countries. Caran was one of the exhibitors and participated with the Caran Design Concept System in the design contest. The concept has earlier this year also rewarded Per with the second prize in his category in the Interior Motives Awards.
The Advertising Association of Sweden, the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation and Svensk Form (the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design) have jointly created Swedish Design Award to reward Swedens best design solutions with a "Design S". The award is new and is replacing other awards including Excellent Swedish Design (Utmärkt svensk form).
